KOLO is the Serbian national dance, part of the story of who we are, value by which the whole world recognises us.
The KOLO is performed by interconnected dancers in which the first and last dancer have a special role in determining the movement, which is usually in a semicircular, and less often in a spiral or serpentine line.
The largest recorded KOLO consisted of more than 12,000 participants dressed in national costumes.
The KOLO used to serve to get people to know each other and get closer, but today it has the function of relaxation.
In the KOLO, everyone looks at each other, they are directed at those close to them, without whom the KOLO does not exist.
